1. Who we are

TossnTrips operates Toss&Trips ("we", "us"). We are the data fiduciary / controller for the personal data described in this policy. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have, in line with applicable Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000.

2. What we collect

• Details you give us: name, email, phone number, date of birth, nationality, passport details, travel preferences, dietary or medical needs, and emergency contacts for each traveller.
• Booking and payment information: trips booked, amounts paid and payment status. Card or UPI details are handled by our payment provider and are not stored by us.
• Messages you send us by form, email, phone or WhatsApp.
• Technical data: IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed and approximate location, collected using cookies and similar tools.
• Reviews, photos and videos you choose to upload.

3. How we use your data

• To process bookings, arrange hotels, transport and activities, and support you during your trip.
• To take payments, prevent fraud and meet tax and legal requirements.
• To answer enquiries and send important service messages about your booking.
• To send offers and travel ideas, only if you have agreed. You can opt out at any time.
• To improve the website, our packages and our service.

4. Why we may process it

We process personal data with your consent, or where it is necessary to provide the service you asked for, to comply with the law, or for other legitimate uses permitted by law. You can withdraw consent at any time; this will not affect processing already done.

5. Who we share it with

We share only what is needed with:

• Hotels, tour operators, guides, airlines and transport providers delivering your trip, including those in other countries.
• Payment providers and banks.
• Service providers who host our website, send emails or provide analytics and customer support, under contract.
• Authorities, where required by law or to protect rights and safety.

We do not sell your personal data.

6. International transfers

Because trips often take place abroad, your data may be sent to suppliers in other countries. We share it only as needed to deliver your booking and ask suppliers to protect it appropriately.

7. Cookies

We use cookies that are necessary for the site to work, and, with your consent, cookies for analytics and marketing. You can control cookies in your browser settings; blocking some may affect how the site works.

8. How long we keep it

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above, including meeting legal, accounting and dispute-resolution needs. Booking records are generally kept for up to 8 years; marketing data is kept until you unsubscribe.

9. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may ask us to:

• give you a summary of the data we hold about you;
• correct or complete inaccurate data;
• erase data we no longer need;
• withdraw consent, including to marketing messages;
• nominate someone to exercise your rights if you cannot; and
• address a grievance about how we handle your data.

10. Security

We use reasonable safeguards such as encrypted connections and access controls. No system is completely secure, so please keep your own passwords and devices safe.

11. Children

Our services are for adults. When a booking includes travellers under 18, the parent or guardian booking the trip provides their details and consents on their behalf.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed. Significant changes will be notified on the site or by email.
